John Kosasih


Indonesian citizen, 52 years old. Domiciled in Indonesia. Appointed as Director at the 2021 Annual GMS and approved by OJK on 26 April 2021. The latest appointment was effective since the 2021 Annual GMS for a five-year term.

Career

Since 2016 until 2021, John Kosasih served as President Director of PT Bank BCA Syariah. Previously, he had quite a diverse experiences in the banking sector, including serving as Finance and Loan Administration Manager, Head of Central Coordinator and Member of the IBRA Management Team at PT Bank Risjad Salim Internasional (1997-2000), Head of Business Development and Business Planning, Consumer Mass Marketing, Head of Consumer Banking Strategic Planning & Marketing Communication, Head of Liability Product & Marketing Communication, Head of Jakarta Region at PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (2000-2005), Head of Individual Banking Sales Development and Senior Adviser for Regional Planning and Development Work Unit, Marketing Strategy Development Consultant at PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (2005-2010), Director and Vice President Director of PT Bank BCA Syariah (2010-2016). Currently, he is active as an executive of Perbanas for the period 2020-2024 and an executive of the Indonesian Bankers Association for the period 2019-2023.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia and had taken several executive training, among others, Pacific RIM Bankers Program-University of Washington, Foster Education Seattle, USA (2012) and ASEAN Global Leadership Program, UC Berkeley California, USA (2017).
